At the end of the job, not up front. When the work is finished the pro sends a payment request for the amount you agreed. You review it and approve it before any money moves.
Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and Cash App Pay. Which options you see depends on your device and browser — Apple Pay appears on Apple devices, Google Pay on Android and Chrome.
Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified processor.
Don't approve it. Declining costs nothing and takes no money. Ask the pro to send a corrected request.
You have 24 hours to raise a dispute in the app, and our team will review it. We look at the payment record, your messages on the Platform, and any completion evidence the pro submitted. The outcome may be a full refund, a partial refund, or the payment standing. After 24 hours we can no longer resolve it on the Platform, but you can still go to your bank or card issuer. Full detail is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with. How quickly it appears is up to your bank — usually five to ten business days.
You can, but you lose the protections above. We have no record of a cash payment, so we cannot verify what was agreed, cannot refund it, and cannot help if the work is disputed.
No. Tips are optional. If you do tip, the pro receives all of it — we take nothing on tips.
A flat 10% commission on the job amount. Nothing on tips. No listing fee, no monthly fee, and nothing at all if you don't get paid.
On a $200 job you keep $180. On a $200 job with a $20 tip you keep $200.
Open Payments in the app and complete Stripe onboarding. Stripe verifies your identity and collects your bank details directly — we never see them. You cannot charge in the app until Stripe confirms your account is ready.
Once the customer approves and the payment settles, funds go to your connected Stripe account and then to your bank. A standard bank transfer takes about two business days and is free. An instant transfer to a debit card is available for a fee of 1.5% plus $0.50.
Stripe. Funds settle into your own connected Stripe account, and our commission is deducted at the time of the charge. GOZAL APP does not hold your money.
A charge in the app is a verifiable record. It supports your reviews, gives you evidence if the customer later disputes the work, and means the payment is documented for your own bookkeeping. Cash jobs have none of that, and we cannot help you if the customer denies paying.
When you finish a job you can attach before and after photographs, a short note on what you did, and the customer's signature. If the customer later disputes the charge with their bank, that packet is the evidence we use to defend it. It takes about a minute and it is the single most useful thing you can do to protect a payment.
If they raise it in the app within 24 hours, our team reviews it and may refund it in full or in part. Where a refund is issued our commission is refunded proportionally too. If they go to their bank instead, the bank's chargeback process applies and your completion evidence is what we use to contest it.
No. Determining, collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax on your services is your responsibility. We do not calculate it, collect it or remit it for you. Stripe reports payouts to connected accounts as required by law.
In the current release, between $1.00 and $5,000.00 per job.
